Festivals:
That time of year is almost upon us again, as the UK begins to look forward to living under canvas in a field in the face of the onslaught that we know affectionately as British Summer Weather. Will we never learn?
Safe in the knowledge that we will all be doing it again this year regardless, make sure you get to see Doves who have been confirmed at two festivals so far.
You can see them in Scotland at T In The Park where they play the 'Second Stage' on the evening of Saturday 8th July.
Then August sees them play the huge two-headed monster that is the Reading/Leeds Festival. It's a game of two halves with Doves' first leg being played down South in Reading on the Main Stage on Friday 25th August. The corresponding Northern fixture is in Leeds three days later on Monday 28th, also on the Main Stage.
Doves on TV:
Doves make a rare telly appearance on Wednesday April 19th when Channel 4 broadcast highlights of the NME Carling Premier Awards show the band did at The Astoria back in January (these awards used to be called The Brats, but that obviously wasn't as wild and rock'n'roll enough like the new name is).
You can catch the boys performing 'The Cedar Room' at 12.15am BST Wednesday 19th April (strictly speaking it'll be Thursday, but you know what we mean).
